Tenants and Organizations
A tenant is a hard security and data-isolation boundary.
Organizations are flexible structures inside a tenant. They can represent customers, regions, branches, buildings, sites, departments, warehouses, or any other hierarchy that a tenant needs.
Users may receive access to:
- a whole tenant,
- one organization unit,
- multiple organization units,
- a subtree below an organization unit.
Cross-tenant data access is a security defect.
